Greetings to all, this Monday morning, let us be reminded that we belong to God and that we were created for a purpose. Let us not let the fact that it is Monday makes us waste it. Amen

In life, we will face many challenges, but we must not give up or stop praying because those challenges will be the thing that will get us to the place in life God wants us to be. Besides, as children of God, we are always to give ourselves to the work of the Lord.

Week after week, even day after day, it can sometimes become easy for us to get tired of praying for something or someone. When this happens, in the book of Colossians, Paul encourages us to be devoted and to be alert with thankful hearts in our prayers.

Colossians 4:2 (TLB)

2 Don't be weary in prayer; keep at it; watch for God's answers, and remember to be thankful when they come.

The scripture's truth is that when we devote ourselves and persist with thankful hearts in our prayers, it demonstrates our trust and faith that God is with us and that He will answer our prayers.

Isaiah 40:28-29 (NIV)

28 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.

29 He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.

Lesson: Prayer is our means of survival when faced with challenging times in our lives.

As we begin this week, let us not allow the issues and the world's problems around us to shake our faith so much that we become discouraged and give up on prayer.
