Greetings to all, on this Saturday, let us ask God for wisdom and the courage to change the things in our lives that keep us shackled to the world. Amen
We often know when it's time for a change in our lives, but we're more comfortable pointing out the changes we think others need to make in their lives.
Whether spiritual, emotional, or eternal, the word of God encourages and teaches us to change our lives so that we can live our lives for God. However, we must be willing to welcome these changes. When we embrace these changes, it will be evidence that God is working in our lives.
Ephesians 4:22-24 (GW)
22 You were taught to change the way you were living. The person you used to be will ruin you through desires that deceive you.
23 However, you were taught to have a new attitude.
24 You were also taught to become a new person created to be like God, truly righteous and holy.
2 Peter 1:3-4 (NLT2)
3 By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.
4 And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world's corruption caused by human desires.
Lesson: We must continue to cling to God's word; it will help us embrace our changes as we experience them in our lives.
