Greetings to all, let us thank God for bringing us to another week. May He bless each of us and lead us in His ways of loving others and keeping the proper perspective on who we are, and not focusing so much on ourselves.

As we begin this week, know that our responses and what we do are only about us and how we carry ourselves. We all strive to do good, but we struggle to get out of the way of me, myself, and I; because of the flesh and sin nature passed down from Adam.

Romans 7:15 (NRSV)

15 I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate.

We can dress for success and put on our best external image, but it only masks the truth of who we are and hide the pain and hurts that we carry to our jobs, and everywhere we go.

Philippians 2:3 (NRSV)

3 Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit but in humility regard others as better than yourselves.

Lesson: While self inflates itself, there is more to us and a greater part than me, myself, and I; it's our divine nature that can help us to win the carnal conflict of the flesh and sin battle within. Let us also carry this part with us everywhere we go this week.
