Make A Wish

Greetings to all; this Tuesday, I pray God grants us the desires of our hearts as we journey through the rest of the week.

We all have wished for something we desire. Whether in childhood innocence, making a wish by blowing a dandelion, blowing out the candles on a birthday cake, or wishing on a falling star. There is nothing wrong with wishing or hoping, but the way to God is simply asking.

John 15:7 (ESV)

7 If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

Lesson: How much we rely on God will determine why and how we seek Him. As Christians, we pray to God when we want or expect something out of our reach because we know the key to the return of our prayers is abiding in Christ.
