Maintaining Good Character

Greetings to all. As we end the week, let us remember the importance of maintaining our good character.

For most people, living a quiet life and their work matter most. Nothing will get in the way. Our Christian identity guides and supports our understanding of who we are and what we represent. We strive to reflect this identity in our actions, even when we are tempted to act out of character.

1 Peter 2:1 (NRSV)

1 Rid yourselves, therefore, of all malice, and all guile, insincerity, envy, and all slander.

Lesson: A good reputation is important. When we are united and share our identity in Christ, we are better equipped to maintain our reputation and avoid acting out of character. A good reputation helps us stay true to who we are and ensures God receives the glory.
