Love Waits

Greetings to all. As we begin this week, let us practice patience.

In life, we will not always get what we want right away. Whether it is coping with irritability from others or waiting on a blessing from God, both situations require patience. To be patient is an expression of love, and love endures. Not only should we be patient with each other, but we should be patient while waiting on God’s timing.

1 Corinthians 13:4 (GW)

4 Love is patient. Love is kind. Love isn’t jealous. It doesn’t sing its own praises. It isn’t arrogant.

Lesson: One of the greatest characteristics of love is patience. As we care about others and trust God, we are motivated to wait for their timing. If patience becomes difficult, remember that God sees our struggle and is always with us, offering strength as we wait and trust in Him.
