Greetings to all. Whether gathering together or worshipping alone, challenge yourself to live out God's Word daily.
While it is important to honor the practice of gathering, we should also remember to apply God’s Word in our daily lives, not just focus on the act of gathering.
James 1:21–24 (KJV 1900)
21Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
22But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
23For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
24For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
Lesson: We are called not only to read and listen to God’s Word, but also to put it into practice daily. Let scripture guide your actions so you are not misled by ignoring it.
