Living Life By The Red Letter Words

Greetings to all, on this Sunday, let us continue to give God the praise, and may His Word go forth this day, drawing many to the altar for the forgiveness of sin, prayer, and salvation. Amen

Words are important to us; everyone desires to have their words heard, and some even want their words to dominate over others. However, no words are more important than the words of God. His words are so important that we are to live our lives according to them.

Matthew 7:24 (MSG)

24 "These words I speak to you are not incidental additions to your life, homeowner improvements to your standard of living. They are foundational words, words to build a life on. If you work these words into your life, you are like a smart carpenter who built his house on solid rock.

We should be living our lives intending to grow closer to being like Jesus, our life model and the founder of our faith, whose desire is to draw all men unto Him.

Each of us can learn so much about Jesus and understand His teachings because the new testament is filled with important red-letter words, parables, and sermons Jesus spoke Himself to teach us how to live.

Lesson: The words that we accept will become the words we live our lives by. We may not remember every word in the Bible, but when in doubt, we can ask ourselves what did Jesus say?
