Living for Christ, Dying in Christ

Greetings to all. As we begin this week, let us be reminded that we are accountable to and belong to God.

In life, we may be accountable to others for our actions, but ultimately, as Christians, our highest and final accountability is to God. Our comfort in life or in death is that we are the Lord's.

Romans 14:8 (GW)

8 If we live, we honor the Lord, and if we die, we honor the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.

Lesson: Let us not be deceived by the flesh, thinking we can live in this world forever. The only way to live as Christians is to have a view that while we are free to serve, our lives and deaths are in the Lord’s hands.
