Life Can Be Uncertain, Never Say Never

Greetings to all, on this "hump" day, Wednesday, let us thank God for making it halfway through the week. Let us stay focused, not stray off the path that has been set for us, and appreciate the fact that we are here now. Amen

With the uncertainty of life, none of us know from day to day what we will be doing or what our lives will be like. But, I know that each of us desires to do our best, and it's all of our intentions to finish strong whatever we do.

Even when our life is going entirely well, what a difference a day can make, our lives have a way of taking a turn for the worst, and that is why we need God in our lives. There are not many things that are certain in our lives; the one thing for sure is that we will have some unexpected turns and changes.

Unfortunately, many of us tend to say what we will or will not do from day to day; but that is something that we can never say with certainty.

Proverbs 27:1 (RSV)

1 Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth.

Lesson: Since we should never say never, we must do our best to embrace our life's unexpected changes and turns. Not all of them will be bad, and most will not come fast, but they will come! They will show up gradually and unnoticeably when we least expect them.
