Let That Stuff Go

Greetings to all; on this "grateful" Thursday, may our greatest desire be to have our affection set on the things and ways of God.

We often want more things but miss out on having more and a closer relationship with God because we can't or won't let go of or disconnect from people and things, even though we know they are not good to us or for us.

Philippians 3:8 (GW)

8 It's far more than that! I consider everything else worthless because I'm much better off knowing Christ Jesus, my Lord. It's because of him that I think of everything as worthless. I threw it all away in order to gain Christ.

Lesson: We can take on more things or do our best to let stuff go, but until we let go of the worthless things of yesterday that only serve to make us worry and clutter our lives, we won't be able to see or know the mind-blowing value of knowing Christ and receiving all that God has for us.
