Jesus the Amen

Greetings to all. This Sunday, as we gather to worship, let us look to Jesus as the fulfillment of God's every promise.

As we strive to live holy and sincere lives, trust can be challenging in our world, but God provides the church with stability through Jesus. Today, remember that Jesus is God's yes to every promise. With Christ, there is no maybe. He is the faithful and true witness, the Amen, our greatest friend.

Revelation 3:14 (KJV 1900)

14And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write: These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God.

Lesson: The central lesson today is that Jesus, as "the Amen," is the living guarantee that God keeps every promise. "Amen" means certainty. Through Jesus, each of God’s promises is affirmed, fulfilled, and trustworthy. When we look for assurance and a faithful friend, we find all of this in Jesus, the Amen.
