Greetings to all; as we progress through this week, let us accept accountability for our words and actions.

We're living during a time when it's common to see those who often try to avoid this thing in life called accountability. Accountability is when we own our words or actions. It seems easier to justify our actions when we can blame others.

Genesis 3:12–13 (NIV)

12 The man said, "The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it."

13 Then the LORD God said to the woman, "What is this you have done?" The woman said, "The serpent deceived me, and I ate."

Lesson: It can be hard to be held accountable when it feels much easier to blame someone else. While we need to be accountable to each other, as believers, we have greater responsibility and greater accountability to God and His sovereignty to live our lives by owning our words and actions.
