Growing Through Adversity

Greetings to all, on this "hump" day Wednesday, let us put more of our faith in God as we strive to grow stronger and come out better as we go through adversities and hardships.

No one wants to face difficulties in life; however, we will all come face to face at some point and time with personal adversities and hardships in our lifetime that this world offers. There is no going around them.

Although God doesn't bring troubles and difficulties into our lives, He has a purpose for allowing us to go through them. We can and will spiritually grow when we trust God to be with us when life hurts.

Job 36:15 (RSV)

15 He delivers the afflicted by their affliction and opens their ear by adversity.

Romans 5:3-4 (RSV)

3 More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance,

4 and endurance produces character, and character produces hope,

Lesson: We can experience joy when we remain faithful, trust God's Sovereignty and take on a victorious mindset rather than the victim mentality. Also, something spiritually can grow from the adversities we go through.
