God Owns Everything

Greetings to all; on this "grateful" Thursday, let us thank God for our blessings and praise Him for who He is.

There will be times in life when we will face significant financial crises. However, prosperity has a way of doing something to us. When the getting is good, and life is good, we tend to forget that the earth is the Lord and everything in it, even us.

1 Timothy 6:17 (GW)

17 Tell those who have the world's riches not to be arrogant and not to place their confidence in anything as uncertain as riches. Instead, they should place their confidence in God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy.

Lesson: Although we may find ourselves with riches, we should trust God daily because He blesses us with everything. He is excellent, powerful, and the head of everything in heaven and on earth.
