God Knows Our Hearts

Greetings to all, on this Tuesday, let us move through this week being honest and not deceitful with God and others. Amen

Without noticing it, at any given time, we can find that we have allowed our love and hearts to grow cold towards God and those around us.

What feels like silence from God in the lives of Christians can be challenging. Going through these times can often feel cold, like God is not with us, and can cause us to have hard hearts in our relationships, friendships, marriages, and every aspect of our lives.

Matthew 24:12 (NLT2)

12 Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the love of many will grow cold.

God knows each of our hearts, but He wants us to know it as well. That's why the word calls for us to do a self-examination of the condition of our hearts continually. We never want sin to get us to the point where we can't see or feel passion for God and others.

Jeremiah 17:9-10 (NLT2)

9 "The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked.Who really knows how bad it is?

10 But I, the LORD, search all hearts and examine secret motives. I give all people their due rewards, according to what their actions deserve."

Lesson: Because God knows our hearts, it's far better for us to have a cold heart than no heart and to pretend to have a heart because God is searching the hearts of people and can create in us a clean heart.
