God Is Still Speaking

Greetings to all, let us thank God for rest and restoration this weekend. Let us thank Him for being with us throughout the week, and may we leave all our tiredness, pain, and anxieties behind and continue to listen for His guidance. Amen

There is a joy and confidence in knowing that we serve a God who not only hears our prayers but is still speaking to us.

From the beginning of time, God always has communicated with humanity. Although He has used thunderous sounds and lightning, God doesn't always use such powerful communication methods. He is also known to use the sound of a gentle voice.

We never know how or when God will speak to us or even through us, but He does so in a way that lets us know that He is God.

Isaiah 66:1-2 (NLT2)

1 This is what the LORD says: "Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. Could you build me a temple as good as that? Could you build me such a resting place?

2 My hands have made both heaven and earth; they and everything in them are mine. I, the LORD, have spoken! "I will bless those who have humble and contrite hearts, who tremble at my word.

Lesson: We must never stop listening to God; We must sometimes get away from the noise and the busyness of life to hear from God.

We will miss Him when we look for Him only in big and miraculous ways. He is not found in the high profile or the grand programs. He is seen through His word and the quietness of our humble hearts.
