Greetings to all, as we gather to worship God on this Sunday, let us rejoice knowing that He has no favorites.
God does not show favoritism; to Him, each of us is equally important. However, among ourselves, we tend to have judgmental natures. We are known to see the wrongs of those we choose as a right while judging the good of others as inexcusable or unforgivable.
Romans 2:14–16 (NLT)
14Even Gentiles, who do not have God's written law, show that they know his law when they instinctively obey it, even without having heard it.
15They demonstrate that God's law is written in their hearts, for their conscience and thoughts either accuse them or tell them they are doing right.
16And this is the message I proclaim—that the day is coming when God, through Christ Jesus, will judge everyone's secret life.
Acts 10:34 (NLT)
34Then Peter replied, "I see very clearly that God shows no favoritism.
Lesson: No matter where we're from, we were all created to obey God's word. We can make excuses for those we choose, but there is coming a time when God's judgment will be inescapable, and He will judge each of us according to our deeds.
