God Gives Us Rest

Greetings to all, we have reached the weekend so, let us not fall short of God's promised rest on this blessed Saturday.

Despite anything we go through in life, rest remains for God's people who believe and don't give up. We serve a God who is the rest giver, but we must be obedient, stay persistent, and strive to enter the rest of God.

25 I'll refresh tired bodies; I'll restore tired souls.

Hebrews 4:1 (TLB)

1 Although God's promise still stands—his promise that all may enter his place of rest—we ought to tremble with fear because some of you may be on the verge of failing to get there after all.

Lesson: As we live for God and seek to be in His presence, we will find and enter the rest He desires to give us because He loves us. God permits us to rest, so let us allow ourselves to rest in obedience to Him.
