God Doesn't Promise Smooth Sailing

Greetings to all, on this Tuesday, because we don't know what lies ahead for us, let us ask God for His guidance that opens pathways as we navigate through life so that we may not stray. Amen

Life is a journey with a path that can resemble an obstacle course or smooth sailing. Whether sailing on a cruise ship or a small open boat, there are times in our life when storms will blow into our lives, capsizing our lives disrupting our smooth sailing.

Many people have the false assumption that Christians don't have troubles or face difficult times in life. More so to the Christians, God doesn't promise us a life of smooth sailing; but a soft landing can be ours.

Psalm 34:19 (TLB)

19 The good man does not escape all troubles—he has them too. But the Lord helps him in each and every one.

However, there is nothing too hard for God, anything is possible, and we can experience smooth sailing with Him in our lives all the way.

Psalm 84:11-12 (MSG)

11 All sunshine and sovereign is GOD, generous in gifts and glory. He doesn't scrimp with his traveling companions.

12 It's smooth sailing all the way with GOD of the Angel Armies.

Lesson: Because God doesn't promise us smooth sailing, let us trust Him and allow Him to provide us with His gentle grace and guidance as we navigate each day to avoid life's obstacle courses and the rough waves that disrupt our smooth sailing.
