Greetings to all. As we finish the week, let us offer heartfelt gratitude to God for working through us.
We know that God gives each of us different gifts and takes pleasure in seeing us use them for His glory. However, with people, the phrase "being used" often carries a negative connotation. Being used by God, though, is a privilege—unless He asks us to do something hard or go somewhere we do not want to go.
1 Corinthians 12:4–6 (KJV 1900)
4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.
Lesson: God gives each of us gifts to serve others. When we discover our gifts, we see our community’s diversity as a strength rather than a division. God can use us even though we are not perfect.
