Forgive Or Not Forgive?

Greetings to all; rejoice this Friday as we end another week. Let us leave everything that gave us displeasure and heartaches in God's hands.

In life, we will have those who will wrong us more often than we care to experience. However, if we want to experience the peace, pleasure, and happiness of forgiveness, scripture lets us know we must free ourselves of past displeasures and heartaches caused by others.

Matthew 6:14–15 (GNB)

14 "If you forgive others the wrongs they have done to you, your Father in heaven will also forgive you.

15 But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive the wrongs you have done.

Lesson: It is easier for us to want to receive forgiveness for our wrongs while finding it hard to forgive others who have wronged us. The spirit of forgiveness helps us to leave wrongs behind. Do not let it be a question of do I forgive or not forgive.
