First And Last

Greetings to all; on this "hump" day, Wednesday, let us thank God for not discounting us when all others seem to overlook us or forsake us.

There is great tension when we try to live our lives committed to both the physical and spiritual worlds. Being in a position of lower status can be challenging in this world of climbing the elitist class and corporate ladder. However, when we function and live our lives for God, He has the power and control to do an unexpected status reversal.

Luke 13:30 (ESV)

30 And behold, some are last who will be first, and some are first who will be last."

Lesson: Our circumstances and environment may tell us we are limited. However, even when it's difficult or does not make sense to honor God with our lives, He has the final say and is the one who will move us from the bottom to the top or take us from the position of last to the first.
