Finding Rest in God's Goodness

Greetings to all.  This grateful Thursday, let us strive to find the rest that God gives our souls.

We all go through pain and hurt, but there are still good reasons to love the Lord. No matter how low we feel, there are moments of peace and rest. Even when life is hard, as believers, our souls can still find rest. Sometimes we lose sight of this, but when we remember God's goodness and what He has done for us, our souls find rest again.

Psalm 116:7 (GW)

7 Be at peace again, my soul, because the LORD has been good to you. 

Lesson: While our lives are personal, the many benefits of God can give hope to those around us. When life does not turn out as we hoped and we feel down, let the memories of what God has done and what He will do help our souls find rest.
