Fear Looks Good on You

The phrase 'beautiful because they are fearful' may seem odd since fear usually implies looking scared. Yet, in God’s Kingdom, a healthy fear of God is not only essential, but it also adds to our beauty in His eyes. This is because reverential fear demonstrates our relationship and respect toward God.

Psalm 149:4 (NKJV)

4 For the LORD takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the humble with salvation.

Lesson: Having a fear of the Lord, not a terror or spooky fear, but a healthy, respectful, and reverent fear, is what makes us beautiful and distinct. It is this humility that helps us to live a life pleasing to God and keeps us from sin.
