Greetings to all. On this Sunday, as we worship, let us remember that we serve a big God.
As we reflect on worshipping our big God this Sunday, we may also find ourselves hurt by others, facing troubled times, or experiencing only a small measure of faith. Even in these challenging moments, let us remember that our trust should remain in our God, who is always faithful and greater than anything we can face. In all relationships, our faith should be centered on our confidence in God.
Jeremiah 17:5 (NIV84)
5 This is what the LORD says: “Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who depends on flesh for his strength and whose heart turns away from the LORD.
Lesson: Trust is important in every aspect of our lives. While we all need someone to trust, discerning where to place that trust requires wisdom. May we be thoughtful and prayerful as we choose where to place our confidence.
