Everyone Receives

Greetings to all; on this "grateful" Thursday, may God continue to bless us with what we earnestly and persistently pray for.

While we serve the God who desires to lavish us with our every need, He also wants us to want more of Him. God is approachable and likes us to spend time with Him. With God, everyone receives.

He gives everyone the same ability and opportunity to approach Him. And although we may not get what we desire every time, God promises an answer to our prayers and delights in giving us what is good.

Matthew 7:8 (GNB)

8 For everyone who asks will receive, and anyone who seeks will find, and the door will be opened to those who knock.

Lesson: Prayer is powerful and essential. It also shows our dependence on God as we live the Christian life. While Scripture has many conditions for God to answer our prayers, we can go to Him confidently because of who He is.
