Greetings to all, on this Sunday, as we open the word of God, let us thank God for the hope and promise of a better life.
We may be experiencing darkness and emptiness in today's world, but as we walk in faith with enduring faith, we can hope to see ourselves in a better and brighter place. God's plan is not for us to occupy this world forever.
Hebrews 11:13–14 (MSG)
13 Each one of these people of faith died not yet having in hand what was promised but still believing. How did they do it? They saw it way off in the distance, waved their greeting, and accepted the fact that they were transients in this world.
14 People who live this way make it plain that they are looking for their true home.
Our enduring faith will help us to live and die here. It will also allow us to prepare and get in line for when the saints go marching into that promised and prepared place.
Lesson: The sooner we understand that we are only here temporarily, the better we can believe God for the promised life in a place prepared for us past this world and its worries.
