Elevate Beyond the Ego

Greetings to all. As we conclude this week, let us commit to letting go of our self-ego and reaching for our higher selves in Christ.

It can be too easy to listen to and feed our self-ego. The ego is a formidable foe that is closer to us than any other enemy. It is a persistent presence that often resides deep within our minds. If we are not discerning, we will listen to its whispers and feed it to our detriment, if we do not embrace our higher selves in Christ.

Galatians 2:19c–20a (GW)

19c I have been crucified with Christ.

20a I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.

Lesson: Once we recognize the ego’s seductive pull, we will choose elevation over self-importance. We will also embrace our true essence and higher calling.
