Greetings to all; as we move through this week, let us start this Tuesday with prayer for wisdom, patience, and strength to hold our peace and words.
There is power in silence and having a quiet spirit. We often talk about people and our situation instead of praying about them. Many of us may have probably experienced times when we've poured out our hearts to others, only later to regret saying anything.
Psalm 62:8 (NCV)
8 People trust God all the time. Tell him all your problems because God is our protection. Selah
The word lets us know that there are times to speak and times to be silent. Our God is the best listener we can have. He's someone worthy to talk to and to who we can confidently pour out our hearts.
Lesson: We should have others to whom we can talk; the value of talking to God is that it can be more effortless than talking to people. Also, not everyone is for us, and some things are not meant to be said or worth saying; instead, we should pray it.
