Don't Get Upset

Greetings to all, on this Tuesday, let us thank God for giving us the wisdom to prepare for doing what is right and necessary in this life and for the next life.

It's not wise to ignore what God's word says about being prepared. We often procrastinate, waiting until the last minute to do what is right and good for ourselves. There will be times when we will grow tired of waiting and expect others to do what we should have done for ourselves.

Matthew 25:6–9 (GW)

6 "At midnight, someone shouted, 'The groom is here! Come to meet him!'

7 Then, all the bridesmaids woke up and got their lamps ready.

8 "The foolish ones said to the wise ones, 'Give us some of your oil. Our lamps are going out.'

9 "But the wise bridesmaids replied, 'We can't do that. There won't be enough for both of us. Go! Find someone to sell you some oil.'

During our greatest time of waiting, God expects us to be wise and faithful servants preparing for Jesus to come.

Lesson: When it comes to helping others, we need to set and know our boundaries. We also must not get upset with others when they set boundaries that don't allow them to do for us, but what is right for them.
