Doing Your Best

Greetings to all. As we end this week, let us ensure God sees us doing not only our part but our best.

When God sees us using the gifts He has given and putting forth our best effort, He will do His part to make us successful, both individually and together, in our personal and professional lives. As we work, we may need motivation. We must decide who is truly managing us, man or the Lord.

Colossians 3:23–24 (NCV)

23 In all the work you are doing, work the best you can. Work as if you were doing it for the Lord, not for people.

24 Remember that you will receive your reward from the Lord, which he promised to his people. You are serving the Lord Christ.

Lesson: For many, the typical work week extends from Monday through Friday. While work may present challenges, it also offers opportunities for silent testimony. Our ultimate motivation should be that our efforts are dedicated to the Lord.
