Do Not Get Left Behind

Greetings to all. This Sunday, let us worship expecting to spend eternity with the Lord in Heaven, a place reserved for those who are prepared.

Amid the busyness of daily life, as we live in the light of Christ’s return, let us pause to remember the promise of His return. Unlike His first coming, celebrated as a humble birth in a manger witnessed by few, His return will be marked by meeting Him in the air, seen by all.

1 Thessalonians 4:16–17 (KJV 1900)

16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17Then we, who are alive and remain, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Lesson: As God’s people, let us live with anticipation of His return. Many live as though they are here forever. Do not get left behind, live like we are leaving Earth.
