Greetings to all, on this Friday, let us not drift away from what we know, but let us continue to build our God-Fidence and draw closer to God because He will always be the safest place to be. Amen
Maybe someone has come to the end of this week feeling alone, and you haven't felt God's presence. Be assured it's not because He is not with us. We can become so occupied with life's challenges that we drift away from Him.
He desires to care for us, and He is saying to us, "I am your helper" and "I am here," do not drift away.
Hebrews 2:1-3 (HCSB)
1 We must, therefore, pay even more attention to what we have heard, so that we will not drift away.
2 For if the message spoken through angels was legally binding and every transgression and disobedience received a just punishment,
3 how will we escape if we neglect such a great salvation? It was first spoken by the Lord and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him.
Hebrews 13:5b (TLB)
5 For God has said, "I will never, never fail you nor forsake you."
Lesson: Drifting away can be easy but dangerous. Paying attention to what God says to us in His word can be challenging but so worth it.
It involves us focusing our mind, body, and senses for the word to sink in.
By listening to God as we stay the course each week and not drifting away, we are reminded of who we are and whose we are.
