Discerning the Times

Season of Lent: Day 30

Greetings to all. On this Tuesday, let us reflect and discern the times concerning the promised coming of Jesus.

Because change is a regular part of life, we too often watch the seasons change and other prophecies come to pass without giving a thought to the signs of the times that Jesus said would be seen before His second coming. Because things happen and the seasons routinely change, for some, it takes away the sense of urgency about Jesus' return.

Matthew 24:33 (NKJV)

33 So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near—at the doors!

Lesson: Although no one knows the day or hour, the seasons and the global events remind us of Christ’s nearness. Let us make anticipation of His coming a priority and help others who do not yet know Him do the same.
