Developed in the Darkness

Greetings to all. This weekend, let us find comfort in knowing that God is with us in all things.

Whether by choice or by a twist of fate, for those who feel they are in the darkness, have no fear; God is everywhere. Take comfort in knowing that the discomfort, uncertainty, and dread we feel in the dark are also accompanied by transformation and a sense of comfort.

Psalm 139:11–12 (GW)

11 If I say, “Let the darkness hide me and let the light around me turn into night,” 

12 even the darkness is not too dark for you. Night is as bright as day. Darkness and light are the same to you. 

Lesson: God’s presence is everywhere, especially in difficult, dark places. Like film developed in a darkroom, we are most transformed in these moments, because the quiet and darkness provide a space for growth without distractions. Even in uncertainty, God is with us, shaping us through our challenges.
