Confidence in God

Greetings to all. As we end this week, place your trust in the Lord by having Godfidence.

God-fidence is knowing that we cannot, but God can. Sometimes we can misplace our trust. Whether in ourselves or others, having misplaced trust can lead to insecurities and chinks in our armor. We all desire security and safety in the places we live and work; however, we do not always find ourselves in places or blessed circumstances. However, when people and things fail us, it is reasonable to hope that things will get better with God's help.

Jeremiah 17:7 (GW)

7 Blessed is the person who trusts the LORD. The LORD will be his confidence. 

Lesson: From the words of Jeremiah, God is the object of our faith. When our faith feels small, trusting God, rather than people, will give us our greatest courage and confidence, especially in troubled times.
