Careful Not To Fall

Greetings to all; on this "hump" day, Wednesday, let us stand firm in our faith. And let us continue to depend on God, not our self-righteousness.

A sure way of falling in life is to be overly confident and self-delusional about ourselves and our ability to resist sin. Despite situations in life having a way of bringing us down, God moves in powerful ways to restore our lives.

1 Corinthians 10:12 (MSG)

12 Don't be so naive and self-confident. You are not exempt. You could fall flat on your face as easily as anyone else. Forget about self-confidence; it is useless. Cultivate God-confidence.

Lesson: We all have weaknesses, but with our self-assurance and continuous efforts, we can stand firm in our faith in God. Do not slip away from the Lord because of false and misplaced confidence.
