Can't Hold water

Greetings to all; as we move through the week, may we continue to honor God with loyalty and commitment.

We all desire to believe in something. Despite God being the fountain of fresh flowing water that promises to quench any needs we will have during a lifetime; unfortunately, we become thirsty and desperate for what the world has to offer instead of what's best for us.

Jeremiah 2:13 (GNB)

13 for my people have committed two sins: they have turned away from me, the spring of fresh water, and they have dug cisterns, cracked cisterns that can hold no water at all.

Lesson: God, our source of free-flowing water, will never dry up. Let us not make the mistake of turning away from God, seeking other ways of quenching our spiritual thirst. When we refuse what's best for us and dig broken cisterns instead of drinking from God, what we dig won't be able to hold water.
