Broken Hearts Still Beat

Greetings. On this grateful Thursday, let us thank God that even when our hearts are broken, they continue to beat with hope.

As Believers, even in deep pain, God is with us. Few pains in life run deeper than a broken heart, whether from the loss of a loved one, from hurts we struggle to forgive, broken relationships, or just seeing the wickedness in the world. Yet, even when our hearts are broken, God comes to the rescue, heals us, and gives us the ability to carry on. Today, let us find gratitude in the enduring strength that comes from a broken heart.

Psalm 34:18 (NCV)

18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted, and he saves those whose spirits have been crushed.

Lesson: Despite being brokenhearted, we can be grateful for the strength and hope that allow us to first heal and then to move forward.
