Better Dig Two

Greetings to all; on this "hump" day, Wednesday, let us not dig pits as shortcuts for others to fall into so we can advance.

Although we want to be careful and watch our steps in life, we do not want them to be because we have dug holes for others to fall into. Navigating life in an uncertain world can already be problematic. But digging a hole for someone else can also be troublesome.

The Word lets us know that we will fall into the hole we prepare for someone else. We might as well dig two.

Proverbs 26:27a (GW)

27 Whoever digs a pit will fall into it.

Lesson: The deeper the hole we dig, the more uncomfortable and challenging to get out. However, the good thing about falling into any pit is that God can easily pull us out.
