Believing God's Enduring Love

Greetings to all. On this grateful Thursday, I want to wish you a Merry Christmas. Let us take a moment to reflect on what God has done and to recognize His lasting love.

We show our love for others by giving gifts, but these acts are only temporary. God, on the other hand, shows His love for us in a lasting and powerful way.

1 John 5:1–5 (GW)

1Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Messiah has been born of God. Everyone who loves the Father also loves his children.

2We know that we love God’s children when we love God by obeying his commandments.

3To love God means that we obey his commandments. Obeying his commandments isn’t difficult

4because everyone who has been born from God has won the victory over the world. Our faith is what wins the victory over the world.

5Who wins the victory over the world? Isn’t it the person who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

Lesson: Stay strong in our faith and not let difficulties shape how we see God's power. We are born to believe.
