Greetings to all, let us thank God for bringing us to the weekend. He helped us to get started with the week, and He will allow us to finish. Amen
We are told not to get tired or weary in well-doing because we can sometimes feel that we are not making progress in our personal and spiritual life. We often tend not to finish what we start, but not God; He always finishes what He starts.
Galatians 6:9 (GW)
9 We can't allow ourselves to get tired of living the right way. Certainly, each of us will receive {everlasting life} at the proper time, if we don't give up.
Philippians 1:6 (NLT2)
6 And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.
When God begins a project, he finishes it! As with the Philippians, God will help us grow in grace until he has completed his work in our life, which began when Christ died on the cross in our place.
Lesson: After completing this week, if you feel weary, discouraged, incomplete, unfinished, or overwhelmed, remember God's promise and provision to continue the good work throughout our lifetime and will finish it when we meet Him face to face.
God won't give up on us. So, let's not let our current conditions or sins steal from us the joy of growing closer to Christ and from knowing Him.
