Balancing Ambition

Greetings to all. As we end another week, may the success we've achieved come through living a godly life.
We live in a world where winning, being the best, or looking better is encouraged. There is nothing wrong with that. However, when we do not keep our ambitions in check, it is wrong to try to achieve at the expense of stepping on or hurting others.
James 3:16 (MSG)
16 Whenever you’re trying to look better than others or get the better of others, things fall apart, and everyone ends up at each other’s throats.
Lesson: Be fair and, more importantly, compassionate. It is ruthless to achieve victory at the expense of hurting others. Let us avoid the trap of selfish ambition that leads to hurting others to be in the spotlight.
