Asking God Why

Greetings to all. Let us not feel guilty for asking God why. As we move through life, we will learn this is normal.

When we see what’s happening in the world, when life's challenges hit hard, or when good things seem to happen to those who don't serve God rather than to those who serve faithfully, we may ask why.

Jeremiah 12:1 (NCV)

1 LORD, when I bring my case to you, you are always right. But I want to ask you about the justice you give. Why are evil people successful? Why do dishonest people have such easy lives?

Lesson: We can learn from Jeremiah how to bring our concerns to God. When questioning God, He didn’t question who He was or His character. But he showed a sense of closeness when he asked what He was doing.
