Apply God's Word

Greetings to all; as we gather today to hear a message, may we understand what we must do with God's Word.

In the same way that the Word of God is necessary spiritual food, it is crucial that we not only read or study it but must also make sure we apply it to our lives to build for hard times, a foundation, and a heart of faith. We are to hear it and keep it.

Luke 11:28 (ESV)

28 But he said, "Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!"

Lesson: As God's people, we are responsible for what we do with His Word that we hear. Sadly, we have an enemy Satan, who desires that we think the sermon is over once the man or woman of God finishes preaching and teaching. The sermon is over when we apply it to our lives and live it.
