Angel Unaware

Greetings to all, as we begin this new week, let us have open hearts and show Christian hospitality.

Being made to feel welcome or comfortable feels good, whether from someone we know or a stranger. As Christians, God doesn't want us to hold back demonstrating His love to others, no matter who they are.

Hebrews 13:1–2 (ASV)

1 Let the love of the brethren continue.

2 Forget not to show love unto strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

We usually hold back from sharing love and hospitality with others because we know them and feel it's not impressive. Or we go out of our way to show hospitality to strangers because we look to be seen as exceptional.

Lesson: When we have God's love in us, it can't help but overflow from us to strangers and one another.
