Admired

Greetings to all; on this Tuesday, and in life, whatever we do, let it not be to show off for others to see but for the pleasure of God.

While it may not be our intention to call attention to ourselves when doing good deeds, what we do publicly will be seen. It does feel good when we get noticed for what we do or have done.

There is nothing wrong with Being admired or noticed. The problem comes when it becomes expected. We must keep our motives pure, knowing that whatever we do will be seen by God.

Matthew 6:1 (MSG)

1 "Be especially careful when trying to be good so that you don't make a performance out of it. It might be good theater, but the God who made you won't be applauding.

Lesson: God is Omniscience; He knows everything. Let us not seek to be admired or noticed when we do something for others. In God's Kingdom, we will have righteous rewards for our righteous deeds.
