A Sure Reward is on the Way

Greetings to all. On this “grateful” Thursday, I encourage you to continue sowing righteousness, trusting that a true reward will come because of your actions.

As we seek rewards in life, we often face pressure to align with the work of those who do not share our values. However, we can take comfort in knowing that our Good God guides us away from situations that may appear golden but are not righteous. As the saying reminds us, “Everything that shines or glitters is not Gold!”

Proverbs 11:18–19 (ASV)

18 The wicked earneth deceitful wages; But he that soweth righteousness hath a sure reward.

19 He that is steadfast in righteousness shall attain unto life; And he that pursueth evil doeth it to his own death.

Lesson: We will find balance in living a Christian life as we grow in the grace and knowledge of God. As our discernment grows, we realize all that glitters is not gold. True rewards and wisdom follow when we commit to a life of righteousness.
