A Gratitude Check

Greetings to all, please know on this "grateful" Thursday that God, our Abba Father, knows the desires of every one of our hearts and the things that we want to happen in our lives. Let us continue to trust Him to give us what we need. Amen

At this minute, this hour, or this day, we may not know the details of God's plans for our life. But we must remain in Him, be grateful and take Him at His word that even though life events may sometimes not be what we want, but they will always be for our good.

We should be so grateful because we serve a God who loves us so much that He will take what the enemy means for evil to harm us and make it work out for our Good.

Psalm 37:4-8 (MSG)

4 Keep company with GOD, get in on the best.

5 Open up before GOD, keep nothing back; he'll do whatever needs to be done:

6 He'll validate your life in the clear light of day and stamp you with approval at high noon.

7 Quiet down before GOD, be prayerful before him. Don't bother with those who climb the ladder, who elbow their way to the top.

8 Bridle, your anger, trash your wrath, cool your pipes—it only makes things worse.

James 1:2-6 (MSG)

2 Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides.

3 You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors.

4 So don't try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work, so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way.

5 If you don't know what you're doing, pray to the Father. He loves to help. You'll get his help and won't be condescended to when you ask for it.

6 Ask boldly, believingly, without a second thought. People who "worry their prayers" are like wind-whipped waves.

Lesson: As God's children, when we find ourselves surrounded by troubles, we should do a gratitude check.

With the knowledge that our Father in heaven mercies endures forever, we can have patience and peace because our eternal reward will be greater than any of the earthly concerns we face now.
